What is Home Watch?

Home Watch is a service for your Florida home when you are away. We provide a full based home inspection and evaluation on each visit. We offer you an outlet and additional service versus giving your neighbor a key to your property and leaning on them to watch after your property. You contract us to look after your home. We provide you real-time reporting via e-mail and can send you pictures if there is an issue that requires specific communication.

Is Home Watch the same as House Sitting?

Yes and No. Both terms communicate that someone is looking after your home. We come to your house, inspect, report, and make necessary changes as needed. To some, House Sitting gives the idea that we will be living in your home while you are away. This is not what we provide. However, we are locally based and can provide alarm system response and/or provide follow up if a neighbor notices something between visits that may seem "out of sorts".

Aren't you a Concierge Company?

Again, that answer is Yes and No. It is good business to help our customers and our pride of our local area does shine through. But, we have fashioned our business around being very good at specific tasks. Part of this includes managing a schedule to provide the utmost in service to you, our customer. We are more than happy to share our knowledge and assist. We do this to be helpful; not just find another revenue stream.  We can provide you a huge amount of service but we do not want to be a catchall by trying to be everything to everybody. For example, if you are a Home Watch customer and you have family coming in we will offer assistance wherever we can. Just ask!

What areas do you serve?

We cover both Sarasota and Manatee County and serve Sun City Center. Some specific areas include but are not limited to: Anna Maria, Holmes Beach, Bradenton Beach, Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key, Lido Key, Bird Key, Siesta Key, Casey Key, Venice, Osprey, Nokomis, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Palmetto, Ellenton, Palmer Ranch and many specific communities within these areas.

How Much do you Charge?

Pricing varies due to the size of the property (square footage) and what services you would like us to perform. We can provide pricing after gathering pertinent information over the phone or via e-mail. Our goal is to provide an effective program that is fair to both parties. Please contact us and we will be happy to give you cursory pricing information

How Often Do You Visit?

It is strongly recommended that evaluations be done weekly. In this way we can rectify a small problem as opposed to having to undo a crisis. One issue gone unchecked for an extended period of time could easily offset any savings by less frequent inspections. To incentify a more stringent schedule, we offer multi-visit discounts depending on frequency.

Are you Insured?

Home Watch has a business license, carries liability insurance and each employee is bonded for our safety and your protection.

Why do I need Home Watch?

Security, safety, peace of mind. As opposed to closing the shutters and leaving the property on its own, we provide constant oversight of your property while you are away. Many officers indicate that "locked-down" houses are more susceptible to burglary because the home invader knows no one is at residence. We test various components when we are at your home. From pool chemical balance, air conditioning filters, to making sure water seals stay lubricated in the house, to testing the lighting, and making sure other service providers are performing up to standard, we want to make sure that your property keeps the status as if you were living there. Our specific reporting will provide you the peace of mind to know that professionals are looking after your home on a regularly scheduled basis.
